Getting Started
How do I install Exolus Basic?
Download the installer from our Downloads page, run it, and follow the setup wizard. Installation takes under 60 seconds. Sign in or start your free trial immediately.
How do I start my first recording?
Press Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac), or click New Recording in the app. Choose your recording area, configure audio, and hit Record. Press the same shortcut again to stop.
Can I use Exolus Basic on multiple computers?
Yes. Starter and Pro licenses allow 2 simultaneous devices. For more, upgrade to Business or contact us for enterprise.
Recording & Quality
Why is my recording lagging or dropping frames?
Try: (1) Enable GPU acceleration in Settings → Performance, (2) lower resolution or frame rate, (3) close background apps, (4) record to an SSD instead of HDD.
How do I record internal audio on Mac?
macOS requires a virtual audio driver to capture system audio. Exolus Basic will prompt you to install ours the first time — it's a one-time, 30-second process.
What's the maximum recording resolution?
Pro and Business plans support 4K (3840×2160) at 120fps. Starter is capped at 1080p / 60fps. Actual resolution depends on your monitor and GPU.
Billing & Account
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the billing period. Or email support@exolus-basic.tech and we'll handle it within 24h.
How do I get a refund?
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Email support@exolus-basic.tech with your order details and we'll process your refund within 3–5 business days.
Can I get an invoice for my purchase?
Invoices are emailed automatically after each payment. You can also download past invoices from Account Settings → Billing → Invoice History.
